Computers

There are several computer classes offered. Intro to Windows Excel Level 1 Excel Level 2 Intro to the Internet Intro to Windows: In this class you will be taught the basics of using the Windows operating system. You will be shown how to find your programs and install and remove programs. Basics on using various programs will be covered as well as how computers work. Excel Level 1 In this class you will learn how to use the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet program. You will be taught how to enter values into the program, manipulate the data entered and change the look of the results. Excel is a tool being used on various jobsites to track many aspects of the job. Excel Level 2 In this class you will pick up where you left off in the level 1 class. Functions are explained in greater detail as well as how to set up ranges to use in formulas. You will also learn how to set up spreadsheets to automaticlly catch gross errors and how to create templates used for billing. Intro to the Internet The internet is becoming a larger part of business and personal life. Finding information on the internet is becoming more difficult as more and more websites are created. In this class you will be taught the basics of how to find information and products. You will also learn about the various scams that are out there and how to avoid them.
